A physical therapy initial evaluation is a crucial part of any athletes success. This will include an in-depth, thorough assessment of your current injury with a physical therapist. During this session, a variety of mobility, strength, motor control and movement analysis tests will be performed to piece together the root cause of your underlying injury. This, in combination with a deep understanding of your lifestyle, activities, and goals, will help to guide your path back to recovery, performance and healthy living.
A physical therapy follow up session follows an initial assessment. Here, we utilize the information we gathered during the first session to continue building in the right direction. These sports physical therapy or rehabilitation sessions will include a combination of individualized and specific strength training, motor control, mobility and manual therapy (if indicated) techniques to keep you on the path towards your goals.
Maybe you don't have and injury, but want to optimize your athletic potential and prevent injuries from occurring by meeting with a physical therapist. If so, this is the right option for you. Similar to a physical therapy initial evaluation, this analysis will cover a comprehensive look into your strength, mobility, and movement patterns as seen through the lens of your goals. Whether you are an ultramarathon athlete, a powerful climber, or an on the field athlete (or anything in between), we will take a thorough approach to learn your goals and capitalize on your potential.
A training session may differ significantly from one to another. Each session will allow the opportunity to engrain strengths and work on weaknesses found during your performance analysis. This will consist of a wide array of individualized movements that will promote your performance in whichever sport you partake in and reduce your risk for injury while doing so. You will still meet with a physical therapist and we will utilize a combination of physical therapy and performance concepts to capitalize on your potential.
Virtual performance programming includes all the tools you need to recover from an injury, perform well and prevent injuries from slowing you down. With this program you'll receive:
